Recently, I am bumping into situations where in a multiple car accident the personal at fault is only carrying a property damage limit of $15,000.00. As you can imagine $15k is not enough to repair 3 or more vehicles. At this point you are better off going through your insurance to repair your vehicle. Several people are irritated that they must use their own policy even when they are not at fault for the accident. I tell them at least they have a policy to repair their vehicle. This is what you pay those monthly premiums for. Please use your auto insurance police when you need to.
