Chinwe Kpaduwa
Chinwe was born in Takoma Park, Maryland, and grew up in Lagos, Nigeria. She enjoys adventuring outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Her educational experience includes high school attendance at Queen’s College Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. She received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Berea College in Kentucky and earned her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.
Chinwe is an accomplished trial lawyer with extensive experience as a civil litigator. She specializes in handling cases related to car accidents, personal injury, and wrongful death. Chinwe has gained her expertise from her 11-year tenure as the founder of Omena Law Firm, LLC, her work as an Assistant State’s Attorney, and her experience as an insurance adjuster, where she settled automobile and personal injury cases for insurance companies. She is currently a partner at Ogbuehi Omena Onwezi, LLC. Chinwe practices law in the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland.
Chinwe has been recognized as one of the Top 40 Under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers. She has also received the Client’s Choice Award and has been recognized as a Top Attorney by Avvo. In addition to her accolades, Chinwe served as the president of the Nigerian American Lawyers Association (NALA) from 2022 to 2023.
