I recently received another call that proves that you really need a lawyer if you have been injured in any accident. A guy was stopped at the red light when he was rear ended by another vehicle. He was immediately taken to the hospital and subsequently treated for his injuries. The driver who hit him had the same insurance as he did, so he thought he could negotiate with the insurance company for his medical bills, pain and suffering.
The insurance company treated their own insured terribly. They gave him the run around to collect all medical bills and then claimed they didn’t understand the bills and records. They took a whole year to make him an offer, and it was peanuts. Fast forward to 2015, it is a month before the 3 year statute of limitations is about to run and he is looking for a lawyer to represent him.
